Pale Blue Achieves AS9100 Certification for Aerospace Quality Management Systems
CHIBA, Japan (October 2, 2026) – Pale Blue Inc. (Headquarters: Kashiwa, Chiba; CEO: Jun Asakawa), which develops, manufactures, and supplies small satellite propulsion systems to provide highly reliable solutions to satellite integrators and operators worldwide, today announced that it has obtained AS9100 certification—the international quality management system standard for the aviation, space, and defense industries—effective September 18, 2026.
AS9100 is a globally recognized quality management standard tailored specifically to the aviation, space, and defense sectors. It builds upon the widely adopted ISO 9001 standard by integrating the stringent requirements unique to these highly regulated industries. The U.S. AS9100 certification obtained by Pale Blue is equivalent to Europe’s EN9100 and Japan’s JIS Q 9100, making it fully valid for transactions with European and Japanese companies as well. Achieving this certification demonstrates that Pale Blue meets the rigorous international procurement standards required by the space and defense sectors for products and services.
