Pale Blue has been selected for J-TECH STARTUP 2020, an award for Japanese leading technology-related startup companies in the seed and early stage.

Pale Blue, Inc. (Head office: Room 610, Tokatsu Techno Plaza, 5-4-6 Kashiwanoha, Kashiwa, Chiba, President: Jun Asakawa) has been selected as an early-stage company for the “J-TECH STARTUP 2020,” an award program designed by TEP (TX Entrepreneur Partners), one of the largest support organizations for technology startups in Japan, to recognize Japan’s leading technology startups in their seed and early stages. The 5th J-TECH STARTUP SUMMIT will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, and the certified companies are scheduled to make their business pitches and receive their certificates. J-TECH STARTUP 2020 has selected five companies from the fields of space, AI, drug discovery, and robotics for the “seed,” which is for companies that have not yet received investment from venture capitals (VC), and five companies from the “early,” which is for companies that have received investment from VC and have capital of 100 million yen or less. The selection was made based on the following criteria: business innovation, economic development, social impact, and business viability. On February 24, 2021, the “5th J-TECH STARTUP SUMMIT” event will be held. At the event, in addition to pitches by certified companies, there will be a panel discussion where certified companies will take the stage to talk about the challenges and real joys unique to technology venture companies and the path to collaboration with major companies.
